Introducing FOODFIGHTERS
Have you ever had the dream to be a Superhero? Well now is your chance.
FoodFighters are WPFF's volunteer army helping us saturate every community with awareness, resources, and programs to End Childhood Hunger.
Ask yourself the following questions:
1. Do you love children?
2. Do you agree that there is nothing more important than the future of our children?
3. Does it outrage you that America throws away 40% of its food and spends billions of dollars on foreign aid when we have a need here at home?
4. Does it bother you that we have hundreds of Hunger organizations willing to help but 20% of our nation's children still do not know where their next meal is coming from?
5. Do you think "we", the American community, should do something about it?
If you answered YES to any or all of these questions, if this bothers you, upsets you, even angers you,
then YOU are ready to be a FoodFighter!
More commonly known as a "street team" in the Music Industry we come from, FoodFighters are more than just a group of volunteers. WPFF FoodFighters have an unrelenting passion and drive to see that Childhood Hunger is defeated and bring about lasting, impactful change.
At WPFF, we see our role as the "organizers" of the solution to END CHILDHOOD HUNGER.
We Connect: Citizens, Charities, Businesses, Celebrities, and Recipients with amazing programs, events, marketing and technology.
It's these things, working together, that provide the necessary data, organization, and connection to effective operate hunger and poverty ending programs, as well as, create new solution-based programs to fill in the gaps.
